Attendance Policy: Students are expected to arrive on time for each lesson. New students enter under a trial enrollment period of 1-4 classes. AaTs maintains a wait list.; therefore participants are expected to maintain regular attendance. More than two unexcused absences in a term are cause for dismissal. The same holds true for repeated late arrivals. Riders should know that a late arrival without notice - over 15 minutes- will result in the inability to ride. There are no make-up opportunities for missed lessons unless AaTs needs to cancel class due to unforeseen circumstances.
Attire: Riders should wear comfortable clothing that does not bind, or restrict, the rider's movement. Footwear is sturdy boots with a quarter inch heel. When weather is chilly, wear several layers that can be easily removed as riders will warm up during the session. We provide approved riding helmets.
